Since 2018 the student led Green Team, in conjunction with the Site Team at Chatham Grammar have meet weekly to discuss ideas and put plans into action to actively reduce plastic, recycle waste, and green up the academy. They have highlighted areas of the academy where initiatives could be put into action, such as emptying the recycling bins every Friday (prior to COVID-19 restrictions), litter picking, seed sowing, and other outdoor activities.
