Duke of Edinburgh Award

Silver Award students embarked on their assessed expedition in the Ashdown Forest after completing their practise expedition locally.

A huge well done to all the 36 Year 10 students who all passed this section of the DofE Award. They camped for three nights and walked for around 100km with their food, tents, and equipment in their rucksacks. This years silver expeditions were especially challenging with the harsh and ever-changing weather conditions. All the students showed real resilience, great teamwork, and pure determination to complete the challenge together.

A huge shout out to Amy, Year 9 student, to be the first to complete her Volunteering section of the Award!
