We are pleased to announce that the Green Team won first place in the Medway Council Anti-Idling competition! The prize for winning the competition was a wonderful wooden chair made by Men in Sheds. The chair was made from recycled wood from Riverside Country Park. The chair is now placed in a prime location, the academy main reception. All students who took part received a certificate and a badge.

At the end of Term 5, and the beginning of Term 6, there will be two Green Weeks. These will include assemblies and house activities to raise more awareness about helping the environment locally and globally.

The Green Team is run by the Geography Department. They meet every Friday, from 2pm to 3pm. Everyone is welcome to join! If you would like further information or would like to join the Green Team, students are asked to speak with Mr Cyril.
