On Monday 3rd October, Seacole House hosted the first fundraising day of the year at Chatham Grammar. Students enjoyed a bake sale and tuck shop, a games session, and a Halloween themed movie night at the end of the academy day.

Many students took part in a dress-up competition, coming to the academy for the day as something that begins with the same first letter as their name, with prizes for the best staff and student costumes.

Together, Seacole House raised £831.06 for Links Across Borders, a charity which supports various initiatives to create empowering and educational opportunities for girls in Ghana. We hope to work with Links Across Borders to create a partnership between ourselves and a school in Ghana this year!
