On Tuesday 8th March, Chatham Grammar’s Year 8 and 9 Sports Leaders visited Medway Park to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Students listened to a variety of guest speakers, including two very inspirational talks from Commonwealth Champions Ama Agbeze (England netball international) and Georgia-Mae Fenton (British artistic gymnast), together with the GB Women’s Tag Rugby Team.

There were a variety of taster sessions for the students to take part in which included; trampolining, boxing, badminton and netball to name but a few! There was also the opportunity to discuss career paths within the world of sport.
