Sharman House Janis is one our Year 11 Sharman House sporting superstars. Janis started her sporting journey playing football aged 7. The team was managed by her dad which consisted of mostly boys. Janis’ first position was as a goalkeeper as the team didn’t have one! From her local team in Chatham, Janis then started at Chelsea Football Club in the Developmental Squad, where she stayed for two years honing her skills and fitness. Injury forced Janis to take a temporary step back and she missed an entire season at Chelsea whilst she was recovering and growing. Next move was to Charlton Athletic Ladies Football Club Under 12s and for whom she still represents nationally.
