CG has been awarded the Bronze: Rights Committed Award

We are thrilled to share the exciting news that Chatham Grammar has officially achieved the Bronze: Rights Committed Award as part of the UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools programme! This award demonstrates the school’s dedication to embedding children’s rights into its culture, focusing on equality, dignity, respect, non-discrimination, and participation.

Led by our RRSA Student Steering Group, the accomplishment was made possible by the collective efforts of the school community. Some key achievements include teaching students about the United Nation’s Convention on the Rights of a Child, providing platforms for student voices, and fostering a culture of respect.

The school is now aiming for the Silver: Rights Aware Award to deepen its commitment to children’s rights, inviting the community to join in this ongoing journey.
