Year 10 Business Students ‘Hire or Fire’ Enrichment with University of Kent Business School.

Year 10 Business students participated in a 90-minute session, run by the University of Kent Business School, learning about Human Resources (HR), recruitment, and routes into Business linked careers.

The ‘Hire or Fire’ enrichment session showed students how they may be assessed in their suitability for a role when they apply for employment, including their digital footprint.

Students learnt a range of styles of leadership. What makes a good leader? Are we born leaders or can we learn to be a good leader?  

During the day, students were given a job vacancy with a range of candidates and as a team they selected the three most suited applicants for that role, justifying their choices to the judges.
