Badminton Secondary School Games

Eight students recently represented Chatham Grammar at the Badminton Secondary School Games (SSG) at Medway Park.

The Key Stage 3 team consisted of Noelle (Year 8), Amelie, Lucy G and Lucy (Year 9) and the Key Stage 4 team were made up of Jia and Kasie (Year 10) and Abbie and Shaani (Year 11).

The Key Stage 3 team came away with bronze medals, having placed 3rd out of 13 teams, and the Key Stage 4 team came 6th out of 10 teams.

All students played superbly and showed great integrity throughout the competition.

We have had an outstanding number of students attend the Badminton extra curricular club on Thursdays, with over 60 students attending one week! The Sports Hall was filled with enthusiastic students, enjoying playing the game.
